Straw Bale
Straw Bale walls are made to breathe, so it follows that the covering plaster breathes, optimising insulation. We’ve used Lime Plaster on the Straw Bale 
houses we’ve plastered, with good results. Typically 3 coats totalling approx 25mm thickness, with fibreglass mesh embedded, and integral waterproofer in exterior coats, best applied by machine for a seamless application. A variety of finishes can be made, precoloured or painted with mineral paint or limewash. Clay plasters can also be used on interior walls.
