The above diagram illustrates how lime plaster is applied for masonry, with the base coat being applied by pump and then screeded. The finish coat is usually laid up by hand, producing a beautiful long lasting coating. Internal Lime plaster can equally be applied to other substrates including straw bales( ideal ), lath( approx 30mm thickness ) and plaster board.
